Happy Bee Day Stockton!

We had a party on Saturday for Stockton. It was so much fun. We had a bug theme and made bug houses and then went on a bug hunt. The kids loved it.

The kids had some mud and worms for a a little snack which scared quite a few kids so I had to explain that it was just pudding with some crushed up cookies and gummy worms. They loved it once they knew they weren't eating mud.
My attempt at a beehive birthday cake. Stockton loved it so thats what matters. (right?)

Claire was really enjoying her pudding. =)

We had 12 kids. So much fun! Thanks everyone for coming!

(below) Yes I made that tree and yes it took me all day friday! I guess it was worth it, it turned out pretty cute.

Today is Stockton's 4th birthday! I can't believe that my baby is 4. Wow, the time fly's! He is such a special boy. We love him soooo much and are hoping that year 4 brings less grey hairs than year 3. But really, we love our little boy. He is full of life and is such a funny boy. His new things that he says are "I command you" to do whatever it is he says and "well in that case" which he uses at any random moment. He can be so difficult but he can be the most loving and thoughtful child. He always tells me I look budiful (beautiful, in case you didn't understand budiful) and whenever someone is younger than him he treats them so sweet and gentle. We are so thankful for his sweet spirit and what an fun addition he is to our home. Life is always full of fun, and sometimes drama, when he's around. Love you Stockton!

Such cute ideas for his bug party! I'm hiring you to plan parties for when we have kids (so expect a call in like 15 years... haha... joke!).

Also, I loved the "Mormon Humor" stories!
