A not so Aprils Fool's Day

How was your April Fool's Day? Did you pull any fun pranks? Well I had good intentions of doing exactly that. I had it all planned out. Both of my boys had dentist appointments today. They both needed cleanings and they both had one cavity each that we knew needed to be filled. I had the really great idea that I would call Kasey and tell him that the boys were going to need all this work done and then later I would pull out the "april fools" line on him. Well turned out the joke was on me because when the dentist came into the room after reviewing the x-ray's he quickly put an end to my prank. Turns out Stockton has SEVEN cavities and Hunter had THREE! WHAT???!!! I thought maybe good old Mr. Dentist was pulling one on me but oh no, it was true. Ugh! Turns out we aren't flossing enough. I didn't even think it was a big deal to floss little kids teeth. Well Hunter is sporting a flashy silver crown now. And Stockton has to go back for more work in a couple of weeks. Yikes!

Lesson to be learned here.....flossing is IM-POR-TANTE! (say with spanish accent)

I told my kids in dramatic fashion that Stockton had seven cavities and they better never forget to brush and take care of their teeth.

Hey, I gotcha on the moving thing - Aprils Fools.

I put off taking my kids to the dentist because I was afraid of the same thing. My oldest had five cavities, I feel for you.

I think you should put silver caps on all their teeth. Then they'll fit right in the hood in Pittsburg.
