Never eat with the lights off...

So last night before bed I took a couple of vitamins. I have been having some problems with an ulcerated esophagus lately and sometime food and pills just don't want to go down. Well these pesky pills decided to be especially stubborn. I drank lots of water and went to bed but I was in a lot of pain and just couldn't get these dang pills to go down no matter what I tried. After drinking so much water I thought I was going to throw up, and having Kasey pat me on the back like he was trying to burp a baby, I decided I would get a little piece of bread and see if that would help push them down. So I got up with out my glasses on {I am really blind without my glasses/contacts} and in the dark I went to the kitchen and got the bread out of the cupboard. The TV was on so I could see enough to tell basically what I was doing but not very well. I tore off a little piece of bread and started to eat it, it tasted really strange to me but I continued to eat about 1/4 of the piece. I haven't had any bread in about a week and I was thinking that I didn't really even like bread that much it tastes kinda weird. After a while it seemed to help a little so I left the bag sitting on the counter to deal with in the morning and went to bed. So this morning when I went to put the bread away I noticed that it looked kind of strange. When I took a closer look I realized that the entire bag was EXTREMELY moldy. Not just a dot here or there but full on green mold all along the bottom and white mold all up the sides and top. The mold seemed to be especially bad and green along one side on the bottom. When I pulled the piece out of the bag that I had eaten off of the night before I discovered that I had eaten from the moldiest greenest disgusting part I could have possibly eaten. Well no flippin' wonder the bread tasted so weird last night!!! I was dry heaving for about the next thirty minutes. I get sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Lets just say that is the last time I will be eating in the dark!!!
