Cheers to 8 years....

Kasey and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on the 15th of this month. It has been 8 wonderful, eventful, happy, and sometime difficult years. I was going through some boxes today and came across an old journal of his from the winter of 1998. We had just started dating at this time and reading the things he wrote about me really made me feel wonderful. He always put me first and was so focused on making me happy. I was on cloud 9 in those days! He had such sweet and kind things to say about me and reading about the days we shared together that I had long forgotten made me stop and realize how glad I am to have him in my life. He is such a wonderful husband and father to our children. I can't imagine where I would be without him. I think sometimes I take him for granted and don't tell him enough how wonderful he is and how thankful I am for all he does for me. 

We had a wonderful anniversary. We found out that we have to take turns planning how to spend the day because it doesn't work out very well when you both try to surprise each other. I got tickets for us to see Phantom and he got tickets for a variety show at Planet Hollywood. We were able to change the variety show tickets for another day luckily and we had a real good laugh about it. It all worked out in the end. We had a wonderful dinner at The Grand Luxe Cafe at the Venetian and Phantom was WONDERFUL!!!! We sat right under the chandelier!! What a fun day. Thanks babe for all you do and for making the past 8 years the best years of my life. I LOVE YOU.
